The Contoured applicator is the most versatile and widely used. It was designed for use on the neck, legs, arms, back and buttocks and works well with heavy, medium or light pressure. The flexible, contoured plastic back has a VELCROŽ-attached foam liner. Disposable covers protect the foam from creams, oils, lotions and perspiration.
The Hollow applicator can be filled with crushed ice and cold or hot liquids. As a cold massage, it eases swelling and minimizes initial internal bleeding from acute injuries such as sprains and strains. With hot water it provides a warm, soothing massage that promotes healing by increasing surface cirulation. (When using heat, always place a towel between skin and applicator.) Empty it is useful for general massage.
The Two and Four Ball Applicators work for deep massage of the major, large muscle groups such as the quadriceps, thighs, back, shoulders and buttocks. For atheltes and heavily-muscled individuals, heavy pressure should be applied. Use it on calf muscles and frontal muscles of the lower leg to reduce cramps and relax muscle spasms. The Two ball applicator is especially excellent for the back muscles by straddling the spine.
The Pointed or Trigger Point Applicator The Pointed or Trigger-Point applicator serves as "the trainer's thumb" in goading techniques. By placing the tip at pain or trigger points, the pressure-vibration combination can reduce pain and tension at the "point"and surrounding areas.
